MagPointer auto-activates itself when you are in PowerPoint slideshow mode and it appears on the right side of the screen as a vertical toolbar. It can be used only in conjunction with PowerPoint. My comment: Very useful tool for presenter and effective feature set. The integrated features and tools are very useful but when MagPointer is active I dislike seeing subtle grey areas appear under every object in a slide. Usability leaves something to be desired especially when it comes to the vertical toolbar and cursor-contextual menu. Could prove very useful and handy for certain trainers/educators who find themselevs at ease with this small downsides. Robin Good: If you are looking for a free and simple alternative to SlideShare you may want to give a look to this new free presentation sharing service which allows you to upload PowerPoint and PDF files without much hussle. Presentations can be viewed in full screen, shared on social media, tagged and categorized, and made available for download if so desired. The service looks clean, simple to use, and promising. SlideSpeech is a free web app which allows you to upload .ppt or .odp presentations and to automatically add a voice over, digitally generated, that will automatically read all of the speaker notes associated to each slide. Alternatively you can record your own voice via SlideSpeech, one slide at a time or upload pre-made audio files to go with each slide. Under the hood there is also a little interaction facility that makes it easy to add a question and a set of possible answers at the end of the presentation. The final presentation is posted online at its own URL, can be embedded in any web site or blog and can also be downloaded as a video or .zip file. A simple stat facility keeps also track of how many view your presentation gets. It is also possible to set whether other people will be allowed to edit and remix your presentation and whther or not you want search engines to index it. Available on the web and on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. My comment: Excellent free tool with lots of good features under the hood. Unfortunately you only have three digital voices to choose from: two males (English, German) and one female. Great download options but .zip is not enabled yet and the video option requires some additional Quicktime plugin to work but it doesn't say which one. Overall promising but with a few rough corners still. Free to use. Bunkr is a new web app which allows you to easily collect and organize all of your existing content and images and to build up visual presentations by easily dragging and dropping your selected items into a dedicated presentation area. Bunkr slides can be easily edited, with text, images or video clips. Slides can be easily deleted, moved or rearranged intuitively. An integrated library + search facility makes it easy to organize in a professional way all of your imported content so that you can use it for more than just one time. The final presentation can be saved, previewed and exported to HTML5 iframe embed code, PDF or PPTX formats for final publication and distribution. My initial impressions are quite positive as the tool feels fast, and quite intuitive (after you have seen the tutorial clips). From there everything works as expected and once you have imported your selected content, you can build a presentation in a matter of minutes. Some features that would make Bunkr an immediate winner with me would be: a) Ability to search for resources (content+images+video) out on the web b) Option to import an image in a slide and have it automatically fill the whole slide c) Better text control handling (small controls, low usability) to make it easy to edit text easily and format it faster d) Some great display fonts Free to use. The problem with Knoodle is the poor navigation possibility. Not comparable with the SlidePresenter solution. But it really depends on what your goals are. SlidePresenter is an appropriate tool for corporations rather than for private use.
