Robin Good's insight:
FaceTune is a great photo-retouching app for iOS devices (iPhones and iPads). Designed specifically for retouching human faces, FaceTune provides a specific set of tools to help you do just that. To appreciate how good the tool is just look at anyone of the many video tutorials available (link below) which show you techniques and steps to clean up just about any pretty face. Pretty impressive. Great ease of use and highly specific effects make this tool a hard one to beat. Too bad there isn't also a Web version. Price: $2.99 More video tutorials: http://www.youtube.com/user/Facetuneapp?feature=watch More info: http://www.facetuneapp.com/ App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/facetune/id606310581?mt=8

Here is what you need to make this possible: 1) An iPhone 4S, iPad2 or iPad3 2) An application called Reflection by Squirrels LLC http://reflectionapp.com 3) A Google Plus account "The magic happens thanks to Apple's technology called Airplay, which allows you to mirror your device to your PC / Mac via the Reflection app ($14 - free trial). Google+ Hangouts then shares the mirrored window to you audience, and the 'On Air' features does the live streaming via YouTube."

![]() Robin Good: If you are looking for an innovative Mac app that allows you to fully engage and wow your audience in your public presentation, you should give a look to Slides & Polls by Screen.io. This new app turns a regular slideshow into an interactive online session that can be easily shared to all of your participants screens (computers and mobile devices). Key features include the ability to add interactive polls and show the results with live updates, or to open a discussion channel so that your audience can talk back during the presentation – fully controlled by you, of course. How does it work? You prepare your slides in the app of your choice (e.g. PowerPoint or Keynote) and then you import them into Slides & Polls while adding interactive elements. "Participation happens on the web. Anyone in your audience can join in by opening her smartphone or laptop and going to the presentation’s website. From there on, you decide what’s shown on their screens. It can be slides, text, links, polls, questions…" Key Features: • Each presentation gets a web address • Import slides from PowerPoint, Keynote, etc. • Live web content: audience will see your slides on their smartphone screens • Unique web address for your presentation, Mac App Store preview: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/slides-polls/id488579597?mt=12 More info: http://screen.io |
